The corned beef sandwich was very good. There is always a beer on sale. Saturday there are free hotdogs and of course you should buy a few to knock them down. During the week in the afternoon it's quite but things pick up later.

A friendly local pub with great atmosphere. Great selection of imported and locat beers, along with traditional spirits. Get there early to find a parking place on St. Patrick's Day. Corned beef sandwiches are always in season, and special on March 17th.

My Husband and I live in Wildwood, Florida and we visit R.I. yearly. McShawn's is one of our must go to places when we are there. My Husband is originally from Cranston, R.I. and he has been going to McShawn's since 1976. We Love It!

Absolutely awesome place. Stop by with a suit and tie or a pair of shorts and sandals. It doesn’t matter. Excellent jukebox music. And deli sandwiches made to order. Check out the crowd. Not pretentious. Just good people having a good time. Well, maybe one or two knuckleheads who find it necessary to dominate the conversation but ignoring that is pretty easy.

OK. LISTEN UP! This is a great choice for local casual pubs. If you want elegance and white tablecloths, look elsewhere. I loved service, food quality, and draft beer (10 stars). Will definitely return and recommend. Waitress was Amanda... the best!

Ice cold beer for under $5! Classic Irish pub vibe with a solid selection of drafts. I happened to stop by on a night when Heineken was on tap for just $3.95 — and it was excellent!
